As an ex holder of lyc, go to this site, they looking very likely to have all sorts of problems in getting their Malaysian plant up and running with the locals being anti-lynas at Kuantan/Gebang production of LAMP. Agree with the locals, but please dyor on this, as the Mitsubishi clean-up in that province, of a Mitsubishi Rare Earth plant is ongoing since the 90's and is costing some RM300m malaysian money. LYC plant is costing RM700m, could be a huge loss ?????????
So, what does this mean for us long term Arafura holders with our Whyalla site, Pirra likes the way Juliaaaaa stated that we will be REE friendly with Japan, means of course that all the protocols for Whyalla should/would be met over time.
Somewhere down the track we will match and overtake the lyc sp, but of course DYOR on this, at this statement is IMHO.
Bring on Production 2013, the earlier the better.
