L8TR your post is 100% inaccurate again and completely without basis again (but i only have time to correct one of them today and in this post).

i know of several plants around the world that have IGCC. One is in florida for sake of reference.

This techology is openly working in the USA and EUROPE, today! not tomorrow, but now!!!!!!

Some time should be taken before you mis-represnet other companies and their technologies, unsubstainted claims are not helpful on this thread, and there are many!

Also coal drying is unproven for ESI current process, SP3 is 100% correct.

The only company in the world to have made it work on a semi commercial scale is RWE in germany and its taken them 30 years and 100m euro +, and they have dedicated world professionals working on it, not hourly paid consultants!

for mind they are the experts, sp3, you asked me this question a while ago. arup are quite good as well but i am unaware of their coldrying expertise, perhaps someone can care to engligthen me

but L8TR if you know better than RWE, DOE and those assisting the DPI then perhaps you can drop them a line.

anyway i never realised coldry was limited to supercritical power stations, this would explain to me why they have had trouble selling it so far!! and why no instituion has come in...

also this proves my point a while back that coldry is not suitable to LOY YANG power staion! so told you so to those who remember... so for all the retric about sulphur and MNM this point now becomes rather mute, wouldnt you say!
