"A few questions for you - how do you know that RAU will enter production in about 12 months time "

Well Zepa I am relying on the comment in the recent RAU announcement which "clearly" states...:
"Some capital works programmes, which are seasonally dependent, have been deferred and shareholders
have been advised that this may delay production for up to 12 months." (3rd paragraph down on page 2 of the release dated 18 April 2011)

Now okay it depends how you interpret that comment.
Does it mean 12 months from the originally planned start up of production (about September this year at one stage)

Or does it mean 12 months from the date of the announcement (18th April)
On reflection it may mean the first option but perhaps that is not "clear".

"and where does the information re POG being US$2,000 or more by then come from?"
Again Zepa take your pick. I have read various predictions about the POG and where it is going over several months.
US$2,000 by the end of 2011 is probably one of the more conservative estimates or predictions. I have seen suggestions of US$5,000 in 2012.

After all when the POG was around US$1,000 it seemed unlikely to some that it could rise to US$1,100 and then it seemed unlikely to some that it would go to US$1,200 and so on.
We will all be wincing if it does go to US$5,000 because things will really be collapso calypso by then. But some are predicting the collapse of the world finacial system and the precarious system it is presently based on.

The higher price of the POG only benefits RAU in making the Amayapma project just so much more convincing financially.
Agreed until RAU gets into production it has little influence on the RAU share price. But let's look to the point in the future when RAU does possibly get into production.
Allow a moment or two for some positive thinking despite all the apparent hurdles and seemingly impossible odds that some people like to suggest
