for sure it's a buy...problem short term is that alan joyce is in deep trying to convince unions that survival is on the cards whilst the reality is that qantas is doing nicely despite all the odds. i can see it's competitors bleeding red ink in the meantime - how much is the question and will it affect their viability in the medium term???
