Great summaries guys from last night.
In a discussion with Ben afterwards, he told me that he was extremely excited with the timing of our entry into the US.
This was because the exchange allows for a greater value being received for our Aus dollars that we will be committing to the US project.
He also said that the current poor economic situation over there with 15% unemployment etc has seen them be welcomed with open arms with incentives being offered to stimulate the economy.
He did say ( tongue firmly planted in cheek ) that once fully commissioned that the Oz dollar could go back to 70 cents.
In regards to spike in price after this presentation, I agree with TC, as i also think the room was full of investors already loaded.
Ben did say that this presentation was put on pretty well solely for Hot Copper members as we are so passionate about the company, and they wanted to include us. He also said that he did not think many other companies would do that, and my broker agreed.
So thumbs up for Ben and the guys for that.
I did tell Ben that they need to amend the pie chart of holders to include a slice for Hot Copper holders, as I think we would currently have a majority holding. He thought that was funny.
On a personal note, to spend some time with him after the presentation, I found him to be very friendly and extremely focused and willing to do whatever is necessary for MHM to excel.
Last night was after he had already done 8 other presentations of over an hour that day.
