    Well....

Further results are out. But you can't read too much into them. So still stuck at a stalemate.

Grab samples are far far away from ideal. As SRK have stated they can be prone to contamination downhole. But a more professional way of saying this is that the samples are in no way representative of the seam package, fullstop no mention of contamination. Clays and other interseam material can easily wash away in the washing and sampling process so its an each way bet - have you purified and concentrated the sample by washing it in hole or have you contaminated it.

Very dissapointed that they have not released some downhole geophysics as this is a far better determination than grab samples of what can be expected from a wash plant.

Only 2 samples out of 11 gave better than a 50% yield. Moderate to high volatiles with a lowish fixed carbon is pretty standard for this material. It is an unsual combination of coal quality specs that will need some blending help to be marketable as a standalone product - although this isn't a make or break as steel mills routinely blend to get the best price.

Average density of 1.60 is still disconcerting.

The modelling still has some wide open spaces in it. It will be interesting to see how consistent the seam thickness is with some more holes in it. We can already see that it is extremely variable. Also a strange place to chose the only section line. A couple more section lines would have been nice even if there is a little less data.

Would have been nice of them to plot up the historical drilling of CR005 and CR007 but a quick glance at the Isopach and a bit of judgement shows where they are. Do me the favour of having a look where these holes are and what sort of coal was in the geophysics and what the the coal quality results were from real core samples.

Basically this is still a far cry from a mineable deposit. Geophysicas and full seam coal quality composites will tell the true story. By full seam composites I also mean they sample all the seam or a feasible selective mining horizon. I am hearing reports that other analogues of this deposit are not being sampled very well leading to potentially misleading outcomes and comparisons.

I eagerly await the results from the delayed coring program.

    Gaz
