Profit taking seems to only a small part of the day

i.e - Most plus say 8.5/6 would have made some coin.

to me sorters hammered us after seeing us as a target on volume alert.

This successfully triggered the stops.

Same guys managed to buy back in at 8.2 - 8.5

Easy money - sell a stock you dont own at 9's and buy it afterwards at 8's

All theory of course until the report issues tomorrow, but you can see why shorting was banned during the GFC

We rose because we had a GENUINE annoucement that brough the market back to us

That was stripped away by traders playing legal games
