On reflection, and after going through the Rand Uranium website, this takeover company appears to be a uranium play with gold credits. That would change of course if the gold price keeps going up. That's what I expect to happen in the long term but only time will tell. In the short term, the takeover does look pretty risky in that cashflow from ME will most likely be eaten up by extra exploration drilling and feasibility costs.
Let's hope (I hate that word) that NF knows what he is doing. He has after all a lot of uranium experience, & worked for Harmony Gold, so we should trust his judgement. But it was nice just owning an easy to understand, low risk gold play.
Having said that, I will continue to hold until further information comes to light. I don't think it's a good idea to sell now after the price has dropped from 50c to 42c. The Chinese have paid 53c so they must be confident. Hopefully most of the weak hands have folded.
