desie the cobalt IS associated with Chalcopyrite.
Chalcopyrite is Copper and Pyrite in the one ore.
CuFeS2. Thats Copper(Cu) and Pyrite(FeS2).
The cobalt is associated with the pyrite, therefore its associated with Chalcopyrite.
They seperate Chalcopyrite into Copper, and Pyrite and since the cobalt is associated with the pyrite, you get the pyrite/cobalt concentrate.
The pyrite/cobalt concentrate comes FROM the chalcopyrite.
I could well be wrong... but that was my understanding.
