You asked for some views on lars indicators...so this is a little off-topic, but anyway, here goes:
With Lars, you move from knowing that there is a change in trend on a certain date to knowing the direction of the change on a time window (often times on the exact date projected) most of the time. Most importantly, lars projections remove the archilles heel of cyclic projections - the much feared and hated "inversions" most of the time.
On the flip side, the cycles are dynamic - ie they do shift - however from experience the time shift is very small and tiny, so that in effect you do get a competitive edge in time-price-pattern trading from much more accurate projections.
