Hi BB99,
I failed economics due to lack of interest, found it boring as bat sh1t at age 16. My country boy BS detector detected usless crap even then. Switched to geography, at least learned about maps etc, moderately useful.
As to engineers, at least engineers find ways to do useful things (eg dig effing great holes in the ground and crush rocks to extract GOLD), whilst economists dream up "weapons of mass financial destruction", cause inflation, and otherwise add to human suffering with half baked BS theories that foolish governments allow them to put into practice.
Engineers should be encouraged and empowered to find ever better ways to do useful things to the benifit of all, especially FML shareholders!
