Hooter and others, the Cudeco Board has just given close to 20% of the company away at 3.8 - 4.0 and are *extremely* happy with the outcome.
As a recent new shareholder, I'd personally prefer that the regulars on here query why the share price is trading at a significant discount to this price atm rather than bringing out the old chestnuts of the potential of Wilgar, $3.00 dividends etc, awaiting the DFS, the native copper speculation, making a meal of non-holder's posts etc.
Is just that the market has no confidence in Cudeco? What is wrong? The tremendous majority of ASX200 companies instantaneously trade at a small premium to such a large cash injection from a cornerstone investor, but not in CDU's case - not by a long shot. Why?
eg. When OZL stated they owned approx. 19% of SFR shares on the 02/07/10, the share price took off, rising from $3.50 to $8.00 in around 3 months.
It's an important couple of weeks for CDU holders IMO. I'll be interested to note the SP by the end of May.
