These are the questions I have in my own mind that cause some doubt over the overall 'greatness' of out recent announcement regarding funding:
1. Just what is the 6 million license? For example does it allow Kronos to use of all APG's technologies and never pay another cent in some kind of royalty? If that is the case then we discount to some extent Kronos's motivation for a takeover and their further involvement with APG.
2. Why the need for this upgrade when we all thought they were so close to the commissioning of the new plant? Did they encounter any problems and therefore there is the need to do so much more modifying of things?
3. When people come on HotCopper saying our managing director got all he wanted and I read the announcement and it is not as appealing to me I have to question our MD's judgement on things. To me to have to wait months on end and get an announcement on funding and selling a license for 6 million (with question marks over it)I have to ask why it took so long when so much time was lost. Why did it take so long and what have the APG team been doing the last year when it appears not much as they have all been waiting for Kronos money to do anything.
