To be honest, I am extremely uncomfortable about the way this thread is progressing.
While on one hand I do share the concerns about the connections to Linq - on the other hand there are people connected to every stock either directly or indirectly (brokers etc.) so there is always someone waiting to profit from the movements in a stock - including us if we are honest about it - so it is part of the "game".
That being said, people profiting from inside knowledge via market manipulation is really the dark part of the market that most of us don't want to think about, but all know actually happens.
I have always liked your posts Espin and this is no dig at you personally but your last post is treading a pretty fine line mate. If you follow this through to it's logical conclusion, you are implicating Jason Brewer with pumping the stock (with false information) to personally benefit indirectly via his connection to Linq.
As a personal word of caution, I would be very careful about posting stuff like this on HC - this forum is watched by many people (don't worry not me, I am just an average Joe).
This is quite a serious allegation you are making here. Are you sure this is what you are saying, or are you just expressing your frustration with where the CCC share price is now?
As we all know, there are many reasons why announcements do and don't come out as we like (usually not as fast I might add) that are completely a result of business activity, and many if not most directors can be overly enthusiastic about their company, and genuinely enthusiastic about their claims.
You do realize this is looking like claims of a covert calculated conspiracy against retail CCC shareholders?
The only intent in my post is simply expressing my concern about where this conversation is heading.
