Appears I've accumulated some enemies since last posting here...

    muppet655,

I thank both you and jn for your educated replies.

I not only respect your words as coming from a practicing profesional in the area of medicine but also as one who takes the time out of your busy schedule to offer your opinion.

I don't understand how my words could insult you personally though? I accept that in your position you do, no doubt honour the duty of care to your patients and they in turn entrust their wellbeing to you.

However, we live in a society where a high level of conformity remains both the essential aim & measurement of trust by the authorities that govern us.

Whether it be a war instigated to find weapons of mass destruction, the global warming argument of made-made Vs the natural cycles in solar activity or the greed of the pharmaceutical giants, I speak from personal experience when voicing an open minded opinion that opposes or even questions a conforming society.

My own doubts derive from a first hand personal experience of witnessing corruption within a government agency at the highest level. Although not related in any way to medical science I am still today denied by law of speaking out about it.

How dear I question the fact that the US population accounts for the highest consumption of prescribed drugs than anywhere else in the world, owing to the fact that giant pharmaceutical companies have the freedom to advertise on national primetime television their drugs which prove highly effective in destroying the immune system.

How dear I question the fact that, as heavily publicized in mainstream media more than 91% of Australians diagnosed with depression, infact do not suffer any such illness.

How dear I question the fact that my girlfriend was prescribed 100mg Zoloft Tablets at the age of only 7 years old to treat "depression" which imo has largely contributed to a very weak immune system in which she has now lived with for many years. This is an example of gross negligence imo. And to this day I have never laid blame on that doctor, but rather the pharmaceutical company, Pfizer who no doubt showered him with attractive incentives to push this destructive drug on an innocent child.

    Shame on them!

Surely I represent more than just one person when expressing doubt for all information we are fed, whether directly through the media, government representatives or the almighty powerful pharmaceuticals

Certainly from your own experience, you can confirm, until only recently exposed by the media, persons within your profession were regularly offered lucrative "incentives" by pharmaceutical sales representatives to push, or for better word "prescribe" certain drugs to your patients?

Having said my piece, which please accept will remain my opinion, I will still make the time, as an open minded person to watch herebedragonsmovie.com as suggested.

My intention is certainly not to offend but I remain stubborn in my own opinions based on my own life experience. I make no apologies for this.

If only one thing good has come out of this argument, it is the knowledge that we also have members within the medical world among us investing in mucin-1 targeted dendritic cell therapy.

However, have you ever asked yourself why this treatment is only being trialled on patients post-surgery and post-chemotherapy. Do you believe, as I do that CVac would be much more effective on our loved ones suffering this insidious disease if administered before receiving such highly toxic chemotherapy treatment...

... or perhaps denying the large profits to certain corporations in between treatments is considered unfair play?

    Hi rsvr

"Also, cancer is not a metabolic disease. A first year medical student can tell you that."

A first year medical student can only recite what they've memorized from their outdated journals imo.

I'll apologise in advance, but I have been acquainted with many in recent years and most are as dumb as dingbats.

    Hi robonrome,

"You don't have to believe everything you read, but if you applied the same level of scepticism and scutiny to the so called "alternative" medicines and the various government conspiracy thories as to current "mainstream" thought you might discover these alternatives are certainly no more rigorous and are likely based on personal and group agendas just as sinister as anything you think government's can dream up."

How does the saying go... believe 10% of what you hear/read and 90% of what you see.

Fortunately for myself, belonging to no religion I can and will tend to abide by this rule/saying in life. I certainly concur with you, that there remains many eccentric people in this world (today I might also be perceived by some as one of them) believing in all types of alternative medicines, however this is not quite the case with me.

Ones own research is the key imo. Whether it be for the truth of the matter or simply for my own choice of investment.

    rsvr,

Point taken. Try to manufacture or supply a certain innocent group B vitamin and you'll land yourself in big trouble... It spells out my whole point really doesn't it?

    Recent Enforcement Actions

On April 20, 2000, the U.S. Justice Department obtained a preliminary injunction barring Christian Bros. Contracting Corp., of Whitestone, New York, and its president, Jason Vale from making or distributing amygdalin, Laetrile, "Vitamin B-17," or apricot seeds [10]. Although Vale signed a consent decree, he continued his sales activity through a network of Internet sites, toll-free telephone numbers, and shell companies. In 2003, a federal jury in Brooklyn found him guilty of criminal contempt [11] for which he was sentenced to prison.

In July 2000, Kenneth N. Michaels and his company, Holistic Alternatives, both of Louisville, Ohio, were indicted for allegedly conspiring to distribute Laetrile and hydrazine sulfate in interstate commerce. The indictment also alleges that with intent to mislead the FDA, the defendants failed to register their drug manufacturing facility [12].

On September 1, 2000, a United States District Court Judge issued a preliminary injunction against World Without Cancer, Inc., The Health World International, Inc. of Bay Harbor Island, Health Genesis Corporation, an Arizona concern that does business in Bay Harbor Island, Florida, and David E. Arizona, an officer of the three corporations. The ruling enjoins the defendants from introducing or causing the introduction into interstate commerce of laetrile products, apricot seeds, or any other unapproved drug product as well as manufacturing, processing, packing, labeling, promoting, or distributing these or any other new drug. The order also requires the defendants to modify their Internet web sites to cease using the web sites to promote the sale of or offer for sale their laetrile products [13].

In February 2004, Jack Edwin Slingluff, D.O., of Canton, Ohio, was charged with introducing an unapproved new drug into interstate commerce. The one-count criminal information states that he "caused thirty (30) vials of the unapproved new drug Amigdalina B-17 (AKA Laetrile) to be shipped from West Palm Beach, Florida, to Salem, Ohio; in violation of Title 21, Sections 331(d), 355(a) and 333(a)(1), United States Code."
