Why on earth would anyone say anything close to that.

Think about it.

Firstly the people in the west understand hes just a figure head now and plenty of terror cells act independently of him around the globe. Killing him gained a little justice yes. But its hardly going to have impact on their activities.

Secondly why take the risk of fabricating something so serious now when public pressure to get him is at its lowest point?

Thirdly if they did fabricate it wouldn't it leave one serious loose end? Namely him being alive. What a coup that would be for Al quada. The US fabricates it and a week later Osama appears on the Internet with the front cover of the New York Times. Total humiliation and discrediting. Work it out boys!

Fourthly I'm out of here. Don't want to associate with this general level of rational and intellect.
