As Heartware has said the upcoming 'trial' is not about proving the device. It has already been proven. This formal test is simply a formality.

The exhaustive animal tests to date were done under possibly the best heart specialist in the world, Dr Bud Frasier. He has done 1000 transplants and 300 device implants. This project is his baby.

If I was in VCR I would be very scared.
