IMO the ALP candidate for Indi was a well-meaning & very loyal member of the ALP - albeit an ordinary public performer. However, IMO the lack of support provided to her by the ALP was the real joke - if next to nothing can be a joke that is.
At the last election it was interesting to note at polling booths just how supportive the 'anti-Mirabella' candidates' booth workers were of each other.
IMO its worth noting that if the Independent [Lappin] could increase his primary vote to about 12% at the expense of Mirabella he would win the seat on Greens & then Labor preferences!
