I see your point about the initial learnings, but I believe most take note of what is happening with the market depth and what is being said on forums like hc....

firstly thats why there are so many posts and so many members of these type of forums....secondly thats why some of the more educated posters, post charts showing trades and the waves these trades create on these forums...

All this information is valuable to the smart inverstor....as no learning in school or some seminar is going to point you to the best stocks and give you 2 different points of view concerning the stock...

Each and everyone of us would have "hopefully" attended school, but school didnt teach most of us some of the very basics in life to survive in the harsh world we live in...

If there were no HC or other forums, we would have to rely on our friends, business associates and brokers for most of our information about investing....thats how it got done in the old days...

What I am saying, is that there is a lot more people becoming members of these forums and gathering information about their investments from these same forums..and thanks to technology these same people take note of what is also happening with the sp and its daily movements and the market depth....Heavens if we didnt need to look at the market depth, then it wouldnt show up on our trading platforms would it.....It is a very powerfull tool if you know how to use it and pay attention to the charts etc
