"Roseby's current DFS is not that compelling....not sure Xstrata will be that intersted in 25KM of future drilling at this stage in terms of running to fund it? I note a lot of throughput required."
AOH, Roseby only not including the Finland assets is 100% owned by Altona and contains 132 million tonnes of ore grading 0.7% copper and 0.1g/t gold for some 906,000 tonnes of copper metal and 254,000 ounces of gold. This is at a 0.3% cut off.
CDU. Remembering that the low grade ore represents more than 85% of rocklands so far..
using cut off 0.25%
157Mt @ 0.56%Cu = 879,000 tonnes
Using cut off 0.15%
245Mt @ 0.42%Cu = 1,029,000 tonnes
Your words.."Roseby's current DFS is not that compelling"
Hmmm...does that make Rocklands even less compelling?
"I note a lot of throughput required."
CDU will require more throughput as its grade is substantially lower also considering CDU is Cu eq AOH is not.
Food for thought.
