Just on the senegal extension and general comments around it - can I get an idea why everyone is waiting in anticipation for it? Kora spud I can understand, but why the extension?
I posed this question a while ago but upon questioning ME around the same time he couldnt give me a definitive answer on plans for Senegal post-SHELL. I realise the significance of potential Ophir farmin, but they have not commited to it. IF ME is prepared to fork over 5Mill for the extension I want to know why he is doing it? Its either or for me:
1. He is flying blind, hoping for a partner
2. He is spending 5Mill because he knows he has a partner.
I have been trying to get an answer to this since 2010 to no avail.
The senegal lease worries me, its been issue after issue with the thing. I really really want to know what resource's interpretation of the CSEM + 3D-seis data is. If they made a call on Kora, do the same on Senegal. Its as simple as that - dont understand why its not getting done.
