Champ2003, the average EV/t (of an inferred resource) for an exploring thermal coal company is around 25c-30c per tonne. Just look at broker reports all over the sector right now. The one I like to use is Guildford Coal's from August 2010. Once that resource gets upgraded to measured and indicated, the norm upgrades to about 50c per tonne as that resource reaches closer to production.

This company is vastly undervalued for what it has in the ground. $60/t production costs (at De Witt and Penumbra) are very competitive, and will ensure longevity in CCC's operations, even if thermal coal had a lapse over a year or two and headed back towards $80/t. In the mean time, the $75/t production costs at Ferreira are reasonable enough considering the high spot price for RB coal.

Am I promoting CCC? You bet I am.

Do I have a fair right to? You bet I do.

Will I continue to speak highly of CCC while it continues to make big steps towards this ramp up in production? You bet I will.
