Wow I am famous even though I do not watch a pay box :-)
I use mustard seed for giving the ground a rest. Lucerne is also good and the best I reckon is a crop of broad beans (I can eat some fresh off the plant)ploughed back into the ground. Give it a season and gee the tomatoes love it.
Just think a person I know (kind of) sprays brocolli plants (comercially grown) up to 14 sprays in a season. That almost turned me off eating that antioxidant (spelling?) food.
