Hey guys.

I haven't seen or read anywhere that AS has ever done any time in 'Her Majesty's Hotel', or been accused of fraud or any other crime other than a speeding offence.

He's certainly a colourful character, but I think that insinuating that he's somehow 'dodgy' or 'suspect',is drawing a very long bow.

You get people like AS in business all over the world.

Larger than life people who tend to be high achievers.

If you want to see some 'dodgy characters' look at some politicians, and some members of the clergy.

Alan Shortall may not walk on water, but I think that his faults have been overly exaggerated, IMO.

Also, he reminds me of Uncle Fester from the Addams Family!!!

I don't go through life with blinkers on, but "let those without sin cast the first stone".
