Did you read the paper it seems to have some nice increase in nitrogen levels.
$5 for pasture hay is not bad, do they sell mulch up your way or is that the same thing (pasture hay). I think you know what I mean.
I wonder how much weed that hay would contain. One of the problmes around my area is the issue with weeds from horses and the hay/lucerne (first cut) the owners bring in. Just over 3 years ago the wild oats (I think) has spread to many properties and into the national forests.
