the whole concept of a gap being filled I find a self fulfilling prophecy. People talk about the gap, so other sell a couple of cents above it fearing it would be filled and buyers line up at .5 cents around the gap in the hope of picking up in the bottom
This is why gaps often fill with light volume as buyers quickly rush in, once it bounces a couple of cents, everyone is siastified the gap has been filled and the buyers come back in and sellers diminish. Its actually very facanating to watch. My philoosphy is to accumulate a little above what is perceived to be the gap to pick up volume. Bought more at 39.5 yesterday and view these prices as an absolute gift
