I'm not sure I would underestimate the significance of this letter ex ASX. I suspect 99.9% of letters issued by ASX are in fact pure speeding tickets and the answers are obvious. This letter I think falls into the 0.1% category.

This letter was about accountability. I suspect the ASX is a little concerned that whilst some issues are being touted ("we're assessing a change of control transaction" repeated a number of times) a significant acquisition (in GDO context) is delivered without warning.

A pointed message. I'm encouraged in some sense that the ASX might too be concerned that companies touting material cannot (and should not) continue touting without (at least) continuing guidance and/or conclusion (win, lose or draw).

This could be a useful letter.
