the eagle ford field is the largest discovered field in america in 40 years..EOG, one of the next door neighbours is trading at $107.00 a share and he believes its massively undervalued as they have reserves of 900 million barrels..
so whats akk's share of this ? and who wouldn't buddy up to us for a look in or to keep others out.

Austin Explorations acquisition of a 5000 acre Eagle Ford shale project in Texas is low coast at $US400 ($A379) per acre.

Austin will control 93.5% working interest and 70.125% net revenue interest.

Preparation is underway for an initial three well drilling program.

Austin's acreage is surrounded by majors including Apache, EOG Resources, Petrohawk and BP. There are 24 major oil and gas companies conducting operations in the Southern Texas Eagle Ford trend.

The project will be the largest acquisition for Austin since its listing in July 2006.

Austin is nearing completion of its due diligence, expected to be completed within the next 30 days.
