We all know WHY our "expert" friend is not in the market at all, not even in and out to scalp beer money, and yet has been in before. Clearly the losses are too hard to take, or profits too much of a struggle, such that he can't even afford to study free of work from past proceeds (losses).

The irony seems to be the study being towards a qualification to manage other peoples money. Well judging from acumen displayed here I'd say he's chosen the only path right for him to live off the markets.

Regardless of one's view on whether the sp is too low or too high (and I remain of the conviction that it is simply impossible to know atm) what is clear is that the underlying value is being continually built on/revealed at quite a quick and chunky pace. Much better to focus on that then waxing/waning market/company sentiment as reflected in the recent dip.

Whether you see it as wealth destroyed from being 40% off some unrealistic (for now) transient spike I"ll leave for the traders in virtual shares, as I know I can never get mine out spot on the top, not all anyway.

I prefer to see the glass more than half full myself, and the phenomenal rise we've had in such a short time with a stock I bought almost accidentally at 10 cents with a mc of less than $6 million at the time. Lets just say I could afford to study fulltime for many years on part of what I've already realised from taking the plunge on STB (for the nickel) back in Aug 09.
