    Hi Dakook,

I thought exactly the same thing when I read the presentation. It was all the usual stuff until you scrolled to the 'international activity'.
This will eventually, if not already reinforce the fact that the Queensland Gov't are totally incompetent in securing the energy needs of their state.
What a massive call by certain players inside that Gov't to "go with" the CSG mob who will export their bounty and share little of their profit with ordinary Queenslanders, let alone contribute anything to local power supply and ignore a company/industry that would not only help supply a substantial amount of future power needs but would also fit perfectly into a lower carbon future.
The revenue from CSG won't build the infrastructure needed to secure power generation in a low carbon economy, especially in light of the fact that pretty much all of QLD's power comes from dirty coal fired power stations.
UCG was and is the best transitional power generation around and I suspect that there are many countries around the world that may be coming to the same conclusion. Australia, unfortunately, is not one of them.

    MASSIVE, MASSIVE CALL QUEENSLAND!

But the right thing to do often gets in the way of political opportunism.

    Cam
