    Isn't it wonderful for you UT to be propped up by all of us taxpayers - whether we like it or not! (and I most definitely do not).

    But maybe, just maybe, a government intent on returning to surplus won't throw good money after bad. Or maybe they might be concerned at the backlash they will face from increasingly better informed younger voters aware of just how badly they have already been screwed by a government subsidised housing market. Or maybe a government with a wafer thin majority will find that one independent or the Greens refuses to sign on to throwing more taxpayers money at housing to prop up the grotesque bubble.

    Quite a few ifs there this time for you to be banking on the government to bail out property again.
