It does look like the internal contradictions of swan's untenable and impossible position are getting to him badly...
In a normal socialist dictatorship, a clearly incompetant guy like swan would be appointed to the postion but there would be not so much of a problem as the media would be ordered to only ask easy, well prepared questions and swam would have well prepared and scripted answers to parrot... There would be no follow-up questions and no surprises...
This was fairly close to the situation since the leadup to the rudd victory over John Howard and since then under the federal labor socialist regime...
However some journos are noticing the mile-high,flaming letters written in the sky that say that labor is almost certainly doomed by a landslide defeat of historical proportion and that the election might be sooner than anyone thinks, maybe weeks or months...
These more sensible journos have figured out that being saddled with a reputation as a "labor lapdog" when labor will be out of power at both the state and federal level for many.many years, maybe even decades, is probably not a good career move...
We might slowly get some more honest reporting... the premier of the ourstanding Bolt program is a good sign and we can only hope for more of this...
