nikko...... the BOA lodgements where due ASIC providing class order relief to prime brokers, which allowed them not to include securities that were subject to borrowing or rehypothecation right.
Hence why BOA ceased to be a substantial holder in a whole lot of stocks.
In essence their 5%+ holding had a component of borrowed stock that made up the 5%.
US Banks have been shorting our market stupid, eventually they will push it to far and trigger a massive covering rally.
