Oh dear. Someone hasn't been doing their research and is posting misinformation. EQN holders have been offered CAD $8.15, not AUD. They aren't, 'now being bought out for $8+'. Although it is pretty close.

Anyone that had a quick look at their announcements would have seen the heading from 6 May, "Equinox Q1-11 Results Generate Operating Profit of $97.7 million". A dead give away that they are producing.

I can't believe you're comparing AVB to EQN, simply because they both have around 1b shares on issue.

Were EQN ever at 2c? If we look at EQN, it had a low of 33c. It therefore has done a 24 bagger to get to $7.93.
If AVB does a 24 bagger from 2c, it may get to 50c.

Mind you, it took EQN 10+ years to get there, so if you want to wait for 10 years in case AVB, 'GET THERE', then you also better factor in all the missed opportunities along those years.

Looks like MW was smart to take his 10 bagger and run. Those that did the same, are also smart in my book.
