Profits are immaterial. If the Chinese are involved and Australians want to get something for the ground under their feet they need to charge them for every tonne they take.. profits based taxes fall right into their hands. How Swan and his colleagues fail to see this is beyond me. Perhaps he needs some BRM shares as an education.
