I am a value investor to a certain degree.There has to be a fundamental reason why I would buy a share.I also follow the overall markets and will only invest if I see the markets moving up.If the markets have the chance to move down.I won't invest. I follow the companies listed and in a down turn would buy.I also follow situations such as companies recovering for example AMA or MBD where the multiples are higher. Another area is the listed property companies who have reduced debt but trade at significant discount to NTA. If you could buy a house for less than half the price and the company has reduced debt would you buy it.
