I'm surprised they're showing their faces to the public along with the story. But if there's a lesson to be learned, is that there's no easy way to prosperity and each method has its dangers. Anything that provided rapid growth over a short period of time must be approached with a great deal of planning and suspicion.
It's obvious they calculated that the growth achieved in the property market over the last 10 years is simply added to the next 10 years - that's grade 1 stuff. At least they now know that investing in anything is never that simple. If it was as simple and foolproof as they thought, then everyone would be doing it!
