RIO is too astute to launch a bidding war that it cannot win.
BHP wants WMR like a groom full of lust in the honeymoon suite - the deal will soon be consumated and nothing will stand in the way.
RIO will need look elsewhere for acquisitions --- this is BHP's prize.
