Mark Suhr will NOT be releasing a counter bid for Crown this week.

The interview with the Age/SMH was a follow up interview initiated by the jounalist in the hunt for a story.

Chris Curran's comments were tken out of context.

Yes Mark is/was in the advanced stages of finaising the details of a bid for Crown. This is a lengthy and expensive task that was initiated weeks ago ONLY to challenge the efforts of NC. The bid needed to be ready NOW because the EGM was scheduled to be held in two days time. Having it ready is one of the key reasons why the Forge deal was cancelled.

I strongly believe Mark's interest in Crown is the same as our own. He want's to benefit from Crown because he is a shareholder of Lynas. If the board of Lynas had demonstated that they could be trusted I have little doubt Mark would not be involved.

Mark is as much a part of the SAG as I am. Each member has worked seperatley and together with the aim of stopping the sale of the Crown resource. The legal letters and the activity or putting together a competing bid were significant factors in stopping the Forge bid.

The Forge sale has been stopped but NC's attitude to Crown had not changed. There is still work to be done.
