I've read/skimmed much of this thread.
It strikes me the anti vaccine lobby have the luxury of arguing their point after vaccines have had their positive impact to humankind ... its akin to taking advantage of 20/20 hindsight.
It also strikes me that we are rarely asked to vaccinate against extinct or inconsequential diseases.
Standout arguments have been presented by Free will and Mobt T imo.
