1 tonne of biochar applied to soil sequesters 3.66 tonnes of carbon.
biochar also increases the water retention of soil and decreases phosphorous depletion.
all from the by-product of energy production.
also govt's Carbon in Farming initiative goes before parliament on July 1.
anyone know where these guys are up to with the egm and re-list.
