COH is almost one of a kind atm. Check out the price graph since inception.....unbelievable. Superior product = pricing power. Watch any medical drama on tv, they never say "hearing implant", rather it's always a "cochlear implant" such is the dominance in implant technology.
I agree though, no point subsidising a dog like automotive industry where we have no advantage and no chance of creating one. Subsidies (if you have them at all) should go somewhere where we can potentially create a competitive advantage.
