Can you even try to get delivery on a mini contract? or are they just purely for trading.

The futures contract you were refering to is 5000 oz, not 2500 oz and

Is that the point of a futures contract, it may have been the point some time ago, but very few futures contracts ever get delivered into these days, futures are mainly for trading, and again I disagree with you, the seller is not obliged to deliver physical metal, the silver futures market has little use except for trading.


The paper/physical disconnect, is the difference between the spot price of silver and the price that the physical metal can be freely purchased for, less fabrication costs, can you please point me where I can purchase physical silver at spot price plus fabrication costs.
