The NBN will be a reality. By the time the Liberal Party wins office again, the NBN rollout would have been already substantially in place.
If Tony Abbott is still the Liberal leader and become the prime minister, do you really think he is going put his hand up and say "Stop the NBN" ? I don't think so, cause it will be like the Liberals trying to dismantle Medicare system.
So, my best advice to you is: accept the coming reality, there is nothing much you can do about it.
btw, it is the government's intention to sell the NBN to private enterprise within 5 years of its completion. I do not agree with this sell-off, I think it will be a bad move, we do not want to see another monopoly in this sector.
