Thanks for your feedback. IMO your comments re the GST are spot on - having raised 7 kids at a time when there was almost no welfare even my 80 year old nursing home bound pensioner Mum now has to pay that extra 10%.
Of course, work done 'cash in hand' & goods sold over the back fence never attract the GST. I also doubt that drug snorting yuppies & chop chop users pay it either.
We also assume that all of those organisations that collect it from us actually then pay it over to the Govt. I note with disgust how few prosecutions there are for its abuse.
