obviously it's to be expected that there will be some retracement back to the placement price of .31 .... good buying opportunity in my opinion, and the reason i bought anohter 100000 options in the past two days.
the share price weakness doesn't mean the new aquisition isn't a good one, or that the commercial deals are not going to go ahead. The market has yet to get any inkling of the revenues that will be generated by the new business or how well received the airway clear devices will be by the medical community. When they get a deal, the market will take notice. How much blue sky is built into the shareprice at this stage ... not much I'd venture.
The thing that has attracted me to PBI is that the devices have many applications that have been specifically developed for unmet clinical needs .... The technology is easy to use and, in the case of the sleep disorder product, targets a growing area of medical research.
Now think about the new business they have bought ... If it's already training doctors in many parts of asia, how much easier is it going to be to place your products in front of your target audience?
Ask yourself this: with a pipeline of products, with cash in the bank, with a low number of shares on issue, with revenues due to flow from all areas of the development, with a ready marketing tool at your disposal, with resmed having shown what a sleep device company can do, with a management that ensured a placement price in the .30's after a period without major news, with a director of cochlear aboard, with no major change in substantial shareholders for some time and (in the case of the options -- with 21 months to expiry, already in the money and selling with no premium) .... is this really the time to be getting out of PBI, PBIO?
