seeing as WA is budgeting for 33% return of its GST revenue, it expects the federal government to play nasty. Frankly, if I was Barnett I would dig my heels in and play harder.
WA produces a big chunk of Australias GDP at present and gets little back for it. The pendulum goes both ways.
