seems to me that PNG comes down to some political posturing by a few people who effectively control the PNG NSC! Now 2 weeks ago, our man in PNG pushing for the sale (Tony Aimo) practically got down on his knees and begged these guys to just do the right thing already! But alas, could these politicans on the NSC just be enjoying this moment of power over others for as long as possible? (PNG's gang of 3 perhaps?)
Now if these NSC politicians respond to fast to Tony, it looks like they where doing the wrong thing in the past or didn't have the ability to make this decision until Tony told them the answer.... Perhaps finally making this inevitable decision before this AGM would be construed by their local critics as bowing to Australian pressure..
But if this political posturing and grandstanding goes on to long it can appear they are incompetent, because they cannot make a decision and wield power effectively....
MST has been banging its head against this brick wall of first volume sale for years, is the wall about to fall? How much more energy has our man Tony got left in him to beg his colleagues to get on with it before the next prison problem? With png comes the ability of MST to build a few extra maul's for all the other interested customers.
And so in the blink of an eye, MST may go from an R&D company to a weapons manufacturing business!
