Hi Charlie.
"First hole DODH223 was drilled in a due east direction(azimuth 90 degrees), angle of the hole 30 degrees (dip)."
Check.
"2nd hole DODH240 drilled due north (azimuth 0 degrees), angle of the hole 90 degrees (dip)."
What is a 90deg dip? Straight down. So there is no azi at all. You don't drill the hole straight down in a northerly direction.
The Easting for the second hole is 16m greater than for the first hole. So it is 16m East of the first hole.
As far as open at depth, the total depths of the holes are given, as are the intervals of mineralisation. 223 has a total depth of 110.1m, with min. between 14m and 34m, and 240 has a total depth of 38.6m, with min. between 7m and 20m. So neither hole is open at depth.
