    thanks for your comments LZA

My understanding is a little different. I am no expert, but I thought MAX is in run off. They have no intention of writing new loans. They have no source of finance. Must pass all proceeds from loan repayments through to the noteholders until they are repaid in full.

Once they are repaid in full then any remaining recover will be return to us the unit holders by way of capital return.

While Max's share price may be affected by market sentiment.
If you look back to the first quarterly report released with much greater detail, giving investors a lot more insignt, the price spiked very soon afterwards. There are only 50 odd loans left and as each one of these gets paid the likelihood and quantum of a return to us becomes clearer, thats the only thing that matters.

A takeover doesnt normally require the trustees approval to sucessful. My concern is that a price lobbed at a level attractive could get us all ropped in ( subject to the trsut deed rules) Dont forget Kinghorn Junior ownes 10million units . The more information made available the easier it is to accurately determine the final return. And in turn the difference between share price and NTA will reduce
